I know a lot of people want someone with experience "rebuilding" a program, and Mendenhall did this at BYU:

2002: 5-7
2003: 4-8
2004: 5-6

Bronco

2005: 6-6
2006: 11-2, undefeated in conf (MWC champs) and a bowl win
2007: 11-2, undefeated in conf (MWC champs) and a bowl win
2008: 10-3
2009: 11-2, bowl win
 
Convenient that you left off the last three years. They played a similar schedule this year than the one they had the previous year and finished with a worse record. But if you guys want him suit yourselves.
