Since there are multiple events scheduled for the remainder of their schedules, thought I'd set up a separate thread for this.
Per the below, the Buffs ("CU Athletics and the Alumni C Club, in concert with the CU Boulder Alumni Association") have scheduled 3 separate "virtual pre-game events " over the remainder of both the men's and women's basketball seasons. The 1st of these events for both genders is scheduled this weekend, and are scheduled to start one hour before each team's scheduled game against Stanford. Registration (looks to be in Zoom) is required.

CU Men's Basketball Alumni Letterwinner Special Guests:
CHARLIE GARDNER is a three-time letterman under the legendary CU basketball coach Sox Walseth, Gardner was a two-time first-team all-Big Eight Conference performer at center. Gardner led the Big Eight in scoring in conference games as a senior in 1965-66.
He was a two-time Academic All-Big 8 team member and an honorable mention Scholastic All-American. He then spent four seasons as an assistant coach under Walseth (1968-72), and was instrumental in recruiting Cliff Meely to Boulder before entering private business. Charlie is an annual contributor to the Sox Walseth Basketball Endowment. Charlie was inducted into the CU Athletics Hall of Fame in 2018.
SCOTT WILKE is a four-year letterman from 1984-88, under Coaches Tom Apke and Tom Miller, and currently in his 8th year as KOA Radio's Color Analyst for CU Men's Basketball, along with serving his community as a high school teacher. Wilke left his mark on the CU record book from 1984-88 averaging 12.4 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. After college, Wilke played professional basketball for 12 years in Europe, including five years in England, and three years in Luxembourg. He also played in Australia, Japan, Austria, and Finland. Wilke begins his 17th year at Horizon High School, and 21st year of teaching overall, including 2 years at Niwot High School.
He teaches business and marketing courses. He's also an advisor for FBLA. Wilke graduated with a bachelor's degree in business from CU in 1988, a teaching degree from Sunderland University (Great Britain) in 2000, and earned a master's degree in business administration through Bellevue University (Nebraska) in 2006.
The Buffs will also host virtual pregame events for the games against Arizona on Saturday, Feb. 6 and against UCLA on Saturday, Feb. 27.

Sunday's event features CU Women's Basketball Alumna Letterwinners Alexis Felts Snyder and Shelley Sheetz from the 1994-95 team, that had a tremendous season including a 30-3 overall record and No. 2 national ranking while winning the Big Eight regular season and tournament championships. The team had a 25-game win streak and advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament.
ALEXIS FELTS SNYDER was an exemplary Guard for the CU Women's Basketball 1994-95 team and a four-year letterwinner for CU. This team had MUCH to celebrate! As a scholarship athlete, Alexis graduated with a degree in Communications from CU Boulder
As a prep athlete, Alexis was a standout athlete and went on to be recognized by her community with an induction into the San Mateo County Sports Hall of Fame on June 4, 2002 A plaque commemorating Alexis Felts of Sacred Heart Prep hangs in her high school. Currently Alexis works as an Operations Analyst at USC Keck Medical Center for the last seven years.
She lives in San Francisco and works at the San Francisco. She also teaches spinning, boot camp and cardio kickboxing classes.
SHELLEY SHEETZ was a standout point guard at the University of Colorado, Boulder where she became the school's youngest inductee into the CU Athletics Hall of Fame in 2004. She capped a record-setting career by being named Colorado's first Kodak All-American in 1994-1995 when she led the Buffaloes to a No. 2 overall ranking with a 30-3 record and a bid to the NCAA Elite Eight. She was also named an All-American by The Associated Press, Basketball Times and the U.S. Basketball Writers Association, and she was one of five finalists for the prestigious James Naismith Award.
At the time of her graduation in 1995, Sheetz was No. 2 all-time in Buffaloes' history with 1,775 points and 514 assists. Her 252 3-pointers made were additionally a Big Eight Conference record at the time. She was a three-time All-Big Eight First Team honoree and the conference's Player of the Year and Female Athlete of the Year as a senior in 1994-1995. Colorado went 106-21 during her career, including a 49-7 mark in Big Eight Conference play.
As a professional player, Sheetz played two-plus seasons in the American Basketball League from 1996-1998 with the Colorado Xplosion and Portland Power, and she also spent a year in Germany playing for BTV Wuppertal.
In August 2020, Sheetz was named the top assistant on Denver University's Women's Basketball staff, beginning her first season in her second stint on the Denver Pioneers women's basketball coaching staff. An assistant 2008-12, Sheetz returns to the DU women's basketball program after three seasons at University of Loyola-Maryland. Prior to Loyola, Sheetz's coaching experience started with a season at Washington State (1999-00), followed by four seasons at San Diego (2001-05), three seasons at Pepperdine (2005-08), four seasons at Denver (2008-12) and three seasons at Boston College (2012-15). Following the stint at Boston College, Sheetz worked for Under Armour in Nashville and then became the Kay Yow Cancer Fund coordinator of Play4Kay.
