Me and the Mrs are currently in Tahiti. Today we were walking through the market in Papeete and I spied something, well, impossible in the distance, to wit: a CU banner. It was at a bar, and was the only sports emblem displayed. Was the Coach Prime effect writ large? Alas, no. A waiter told me the owner went to CU, but was not there so I couldn’t say hello. So we'll be in Papeete in mid March. What's the name of the bar and we'll stop by and say "Sko!"

Don’t know the name. It is upstairs in main market. You can’t miss it.

It was called Cafe Maeva - it's the only coffee shop/bar upstairs. We actually stopped there on our last day in Papeete as well - still didn't meet the owner. I had a yummy smoothie and @Jayne Cobb had a coconut (they pop a hole in the top and stick a straw in). It was a nice place to get a cold drink on a sweaty day.

And boy is French Polynesia pricey. One of our local guides said COVID/inflation has hit them extra hard since they have to import so many goods.

Awesome. Thanks for that. We'll be traveling with some Husker fans so will make a point of "accidentally" stumbling in.
