Who are you kiddin'?Must win for bowl game hopes. Context is important for these kind of statements
You say strange things.Richrod's novelty offense/defense can be out schemed. Coaches this is a must win. Please ...have the guys prepared.
Nothing strange really. The rich rod 3-3-5 is premised on getting ahead and staying ahead. Look at how Boise St handled UofA last year...wasn't that the recipe. You say strange things.
This seems revisionist. Did anyone really expect us to beat UO, ASU, or U of A preseason? This is -- by far -- the biggest game of MacIntyre's tenure.
Get a win and it changes everything. A loss and this thing is probably off the rails.

LINE SHUFFLE: No one knows yet whether left tackle Sam Kronshage — who missed Saturday’s game because of a concussion — will be available to play this week. If not, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see regular right tackle Stephane Nembot play on the left side another week and Shane Callahan take over on the right side.
LIUFAU’S NUMBERS: CU’s quarterback finished with 389 yards passing on 25 completions in 40 attempts, with one touchdown and an interception. It was the second-most passing yards in his career, topped only by the 455 he had against Cal in a double-overtime loss last season.

yea, our OOC was laughably weak. Our P12 slate isn't is bad. need to start winning. This is why you'll notice I don't take season prediction threads seriously and don't really participate. You're talking about preseason expectations and complaining about a revisionist future. That's ridiculous.
Preseason, ASU & UO both figured to be around top 15 teams, UA about the same. So far, opponents are much worse than expected and the Buffs still aren't performing. That script needs to change and people are running out of patience. This week is huge.
changed practice time due to getting back so late from ASU. if anything, he's doing the opposite of going harder. Given the injury status of our OL and LBs + no bye week, going harder would be a bad choice.Doesn't the team normally have Mondays off? They're in Folsom practicing on the live cam right now. Maybe Mac's decided to work them a little harder, while still being within the NCAA mandated contact hours limit of course.

and made another potentially winnable game a blowout.Thank you. Well said. Team has already blown two winnable games.

Not sure how that rebuts my points, but yes.Going hard would be a bad choice? For a team that has lost 13 consecutive conference games and constantly finds ways to throw games away? Ok, then.

Completely changing coaching styles in-season to the hard ass approach won't work. That mentality needs to be instilled from day 1 of offseason training and continued until the team goes into weekly game prep routine. Beating the **** out of the players, mid season, because they are out-manned in the trenches isn't going to do anything except wear them down even more. So, because there are some injuries, going easier on them will turn this team around? It will get them to stop throwing interceptions, missing blocks, missing tackles, dropping passes, and not taking care of their assignments on defense and special teams? Mac just needs to be nicer. Got it. Not that it matters because I'm sure he's using the maximum number of hours allotted by the NCAA, but this team is marshmallow soft and it wouldn't kill them if the coach got on them a bit.
