First true road game for the Buffs this year. Be interesting to see how they respond to a hostile crowd. If this team has hopes for the Big Dance this year then tonight is a must win imo.

The is gonna be a broken record type comment towards the end of the season but.... Limit turnovers and 2nd chance points and I think the Buffs win this one.

JUST CRASH THE ****IN BOARDS!!!

GO BUFFS!!!!!

Hello? *tap tap* ... anyone in here?

Those of you who DON'T have to wait for the end of the DU-CC hockey game and who aren't relegated to listening to Mark Johnson and CJ on 760am (not that there's anything wrong with that ) need to step up for the rest of us.

9-4 Buffs at first break.

**** you all :smile2:

That would be interesting. If there were a crowd there....

Warning to those who are going to start watching later. This is a Pac-10 broadcast. Definitely not a pro-CU slant...

Why the **** the tape delay. I'm watching on FSAZ. Chat anyone?

I'm just praying that the DU-CC game doesn't go into OT.

MAYBE I'll get to see some of the second half.

We're 10+ minutes in. What are you guys seeing? Its painful watching the game on espn.com with updates every 30 seconds

Buffs started hot, but have been kind of scattered lately. Been in a pretty deep scoring slump for a few minutes now.

The game is "national" on Fox Sports Net, but if your regional Fox network is carrying something else, that's probably why you aren't getting it...

That sucks. I appreciate any insight I can get from those lucky enough to watch. This Celtics postgame show is pretty lame

Up 30-27 with 3 min to go in the 1st. Typical college b-ball home cooking. And we've missed some easy shots.

DU beat CC!

And the game is on FSNRM with 10 seconds to go in the half!

36-31 at the half.

That's actually a lot of points to score on OSU in their building. And it could easily have been over 40. This is a good game and a good test for CU. They're bigger and a bit more athletic, but we're more disciplined and are better shooters (especially free throws).

is OSU playing good D or is CU just not hitting shots? From what I can see in the box score they are not shooting at a very good clip in the first half

We're missing a lot of open shots. A lot of layups. They're extending their defense and giving us opportunities around the basket. But their length and athleticism is disrupting and we're not finishing well. Need to go up strong in the 2nd half. Also, there's some home cooking with the officiating and we're not getting any touch fouls called in our favor on the inside.

you are not kidding. not that im a round ball expert but geeze....

Its not a good sign to have a guard leading the team in reb. It looks as though they are getting worked inside again. This is going to be a huge problem, especially one the conference games start.

Totally agree. Dufault's getting better on the glass and Tunks keeps improving. But we don't have a frontcourt rebounder, really.

There's been a lot of talk about finishing games, not just keeping it close. This is the time to show they aren't all talk. Show us you mean it and finish strong.

Even though it's a road game....this is a tough loss to swallow....this OSU team is a group that lost to Sac. State & TAMU Corpus Christi & home

All the hype from some close games against Gonzaga & Az, don't mean much....yes, this team is taking steps in the right direction, but any talk of making the NIT or whatever others have said is a very long long stretch from everything I've seen from this squad

They will be competitive & challenge some good teams....but they're still a bottom of the Big 12 team

F, this is getting frustrating. You simply cannot give away games on the road like we did tonight. It is time for this team to start winning close games. Not next season. Not the 2011 season. Now.

Seriously...miss both free throws Tomlinson with 45 secs to go...COME ON

That ... and bad shot selection and decisons by him down the stretch.

Tell me ... WHY THE **** is he on the court in the last three minutes?!?!?! :sad2:

Sorry .. just have to vent. But with Higgins, Thorne, and frosh Burks playing so well, why is Nate on the court during the stretch? Can someone tell me? I think Nate is far more impressed with himself than is anyone else.

This team's playing well enough to win, they just aren't playing well enough to win against a quality opponent who's not making mistakes. Arizona shot almost 60% from behind the arc, and now we get Oregon State going 17 for 17 on free throws in the second half. Bummer.

It's sort of a lame thing to say, but I think what this team really needs is a medium-to-big name opponent (next one doesn't arrive until Texas in January) who just has an off night. The confidence from winning against 1 big name team would do WONDERS for helping these kids close out these games. Honestly, if this team had more confidence in the last 5 minutes of games they could (probably would) be 8-0 right now.
