Coug fan here to say I am impressed with your team. Despite the injuries and ejection you still found a way to keep our offense in check, and adjustments at half got you some pressure. I think Utah is gonna have a very hard time doing anything more than handing the ball off next week.

Your cover corners were very impressive. Painful to see the missed opportunities but I know there were a fair share both ways. We were gassed in the 4th and our lead food linebackers could barely lumber around. Your 3rd down conversion had to be 60-70% + ish? Does McIntyres son only play on 3rd down? Anyway, the grinding got to us.

Great win, and a bunch of likeable players. Maybe we'll play again in a couple weeks. Hope Boulder is enjoying it.

Thanks, and good luck against udub.

Your turn around after the first 2 games was impressive.

Good luck unless we see you in San Fran...if that happens, we hope your pirate ship springs a leak.

Thanks! You guys have a good team...our D really stepped up. Really good game.

I have to say I'm impressed with the WSU QB. I don't get to watch that many games anymore so I'm probably the only one who didn't realize how good he is. But then the pirate is their head coach, so I should have known.

UW will get to the CCG

Oh ... I for one am not sure of that at all. Browning's good ... but the QB we saw today is better at this point of the season IMO. The Apple Cup will obviously come down to more than a QB duel, but at least in that very important aspect of the game I give Wazzu the edge.

No offense, but I will be rooting for UW on Friday. I want no part of your team again. I'll take my chances with the Huskies.

I agree. I think both are good but their reputations have benefited greatly from their schedules.

chugspig - My bad-

Cougs score at will, CU is really bad, Falk throws so many touchdowns his arm starts in fire and people start jumping off the press box at Folsom.

Cougs-77 CU-21 (all field goals)

Ahem

Come on man. I started that thread and said:

"We start slow, they start hot. We never catch up, and Falk has a sub par day. 3ints and a sloppy play do us in early as we try to hurry back into the game. We play in spurts and finish the game with a late td, never that close 28-41."

fellow board members asked me why I would start a thread and be negative, so I responded sarcastically with that.

Definitely taken out of context. Oh well. That'll do pig.

The real winner over there is chipdouglas, a complete tool.

Yep. They dropped a sure TD and overthrew another or the outcome could've been very different. However, to rebut Leach's post game similar comments, we also had one right in our hands for a TD and overthrew one TD and under threw another.

I thought that stuff definitely evened out. You'd have to have blinders on to only notice the plays your team missed.

In Leach's defense... He noted those misses, and also said it wouldn't have mattered.
