Buy a Wazzu ticket for a Veteran - only 15 bucks

done, purchased 2 - now, how do these Vets get these tickets? Have not heard that end of the marketing

I don't know. I also bought 2 for Will Call (only option). I assume we don't have to do anything else to get them donated, but I'll post something in this thread if it looks like we have to do something besides buying ticket(s).

yea, the will call selection has a feel like they just expect a Vet to randomly walk up and ask if tickets are avail?

does CU already have a set of recipients waiting for these tickets? I know a veteran that would attend a (free) game, and support whatever team i told him to -- is there someplace he can claim one of these? or does it have to be "veteran students", which is somewhat implied by the graphic in the OP, but not anywhere else.

Good point, didn't catch that. Wait a minute, I'm a veteran student...maybe these are the tickets we see RG passing out at frat parties minutes before kickoff?

I would've done it for my dad but y'all know that one already. My brother Rick wouldn't come anyway so sorry wish I could help. If you guys have a certain vet in mind, I'd be happy to.

Is there any way I could reserve one for Devil Dog?

Also, I have it on good faith (even though he'd never share this) that Philly Buff is offering his two WSU tix to a veteran.

You can donate without having a veteran to offer up to take the tickets.

Right on, I was giving some of the families here first choice. Ill check into it tomorrow. Thanks for the info.

Was there any response on how these would actually get to Vets and if they are Buff fans or WSU?

When they did this last year, ROTC played a large role in distribution, although I can't speak to this year, and don't really know the specifics.

For those that are wondering how these are being distributed, I just got an email from the VMSS (Military & Veteran Student Services ) at UCD saying I could come get 2 free tix to the WSU game. It didn't say specifically that they were purchased through this program, but I'd suspect this is the source.
