BYU 2025 Game Week - Again, at some ungodly hour on Saturday

Still awaiting confirmation but Per Prime and his propaganda outlets most or maybe even all the guys that got dinged in the last game will be back this weekend. I'd be surprised if Price was a full go though.

BYU: Blue, has a QB that runs. His # is 47. That's weird. Kicked our ass in the bowl game and ended last season on a terrible note that carried through to this year. If Prime doesn't have this one circled big time, I'd be surprised.

BYU: #25 in SP+ on the strength of a 16th ranked defense. 47th ranked offense. 6th ranked ST. Haven't played anybody.

CU: 61st. 49th ranked offense. 66th ranked D. 109th ranked special teams (huh?????????????????). Have played solid to good teams except for Wyoming. We were very lucky to be in it against GT tho.

Things I would like to see: Good Salter. An offense that makes sense. Not getting horribly outcoached again. A defense that is gap sound. A #2 corner that makes plays. Hodge dominating.

BYU has 2, maybe 3 weapons total on offense. Simple game plan: Scheme to stop Martin cold and make Bachmeier beat you. On defense, they are stout af.

How do we have the last game on Saturday…by an hour and fifteen minutes.

my stupid ass decided to go to TCU (my client is there so I parlayed a business trip) but, at current, I only have an "Ember" of hope. lose to BYU and we lose to TCU by 35. 2-14 road record extended to 2-15

Their cube is a true freshman who has only played garbage. They need to heat his ass up.

The bar is so low for you guys to get your hopes up and think things might be different *this time* ™️ before inevitable crashout

Expect nothing. Hope for nothing. Accept your doom. Free your minds, lest you continue this masochistic cycle of hope and suffering

We need to win the turnover battle in this one and have game control. If we're in a slugfest playing their game, it's gonna be tough.
That’s why we need to inflict pain and rattle their guy. We want the Bear to be a cub. Best way to do that is to make him feel pain on every occasion. Our offense has to just do their thing. Our opponent won’t make a lot of mistakes but they’re not more physically gifted, especially compared to our skill guys.

A similarly called and executed offensive game as Saturday night will have the Buffs competitive and in position to win, even adjusting for quality of opponent. As you said, it’ll be up to the defense as that point.
