With the Spring Evaluation Period wrapping up tomorrow, the other main part of the evaluation period (camps) starts this weekend. It will run the month of June and the recruiting board will largely be set.

Individual camps in Boulder on June 10th and 20th.

Redlands College this weekend:

Texas State this weekend:

Houston Baptist on June 11th:

Sacramento State on June 16th:

Chapman University (Orange County) on June 16th:

There are a few others as well.

Also keep in mind the coaches will be hosting official visitors on June 8th and June 22nd. This is a big next four weeks for the 2019 class.

Can the staff "highly recommend that certain recruits attend certain camps?" Can Universities pick up registration fees for certain players as an expense?

Schools can and will recommend recruits attend camps to earn offers.

Unless the school decides to pay for the recruit to come to an on-campus camp as part of an official visit (which is new this year), the school cannot pay any expenses of players.

And with that, an unofficial visit limits the amount of time the coaches can spend with the player while he is visiting. It's basically one day and maybe like 10 hours. Official visits are multiple days with like 30+ hours of contact. Huge difference.
