Central Arkansas Line. CU -16

keep taking the buffs. move that line. I'm probably going ot have to bet against us to cover this time :lol:
 
Where the hell they get that confidence in us I have no idea. Going to take more than a game or two before I am ready to take CU -16 no matter who the opponent is.
 
We are the only team with a losing record against fbs (or whatever they are called) opponents.

both losses at home, no less.

EDIT: Not that FBS schools typically travel for FCS games (or whatever they are called).

Take the points. I don't think CU has been favored by 16 points in over three years.

Central Arkansas, from what I have read, is actually a really solid FBS team.
I expect them to show up and put on a good show. Hopefully CU is not sleepwalking and can bury them,
but I'm expecting a shootout for at least 3 quarters.
 
Let's hope Central Arkansas believes it.

I think we are going to win comfortably but the only way we cover is if M2 decides to step on the throat to build confidence.

If the same team that showed up Sunday shows up Saturday AND there's no stupid ass returns, we might cover.

I still wouldn't take that bet. We won by 14 against CSU, and from what I can tell, CA is better than CSU, probably much more so.
 
I keep seeing posts about how gawd awful CSU is. I'll take all of you expert's word on that. But what if, maybe, CSU isn't all that horrible?
 
no way would I take CU and give 16 if I was betting. Hell I wouldn't do that when CU was winning on a consistent basis.
 
Lines are not about who is better, they are about balancing the money on either side so the casino can take their rake and not lose no matter who wins.

CA simply may not have that many people willing to bet on them while CU with a much larger following may have some kool-aid drinkers. -16 is trying to get money on the CA side of the ledger.

The line for CSU was fairly close because after last year there were some people who believed in CSU.

I would sincerely hope you're right, if only for the reason that it might mean we're better than I think.

But until proven otherwise, the fact that a team one game removed from the worst season in school history handed CSU's asses to them tells me that they aren't very good.

I see what you're saying, but outside the ST, the CSU game wasn't even close. Fix that and we win Saturday by 20.
