From a Ringo article on Scout about Malcolm Creer's recruiting:
Chap was one of my favorite Buffs from the Hawkins era. Under-sized, not very fast. All he did was make plays for 4 years.
Hopefully this means that he's on track to be our Defensive Grad Assistant under Greg Brown. With his DC duties, he could use some assistance helping with the DBs and Chap's they kind of guy who could develop into a great coach. Played corner, played safety, played nickel, and played on all the special teams... did it all well. This could be very good for the Buffs.
Creer was hosted on his visit by former Buff defensive back Cha'pelle Brown, who is back on scholarship this semester as he attempts to finish his degree. Wide receiver Paul Richardson also hosted Creer.
Creer said hanging out with Brown was one of his favorite parts of the trip. He said Brown beat him several times during a PopAshot competition at Dave & Buster's.
