Good move for his coaching career. Chap is one of the good guys and I think it was important for him to branch out from CU and Greg Brown. Nick Aliotti is a great DC to learn under and Helfrich as HC should make it a good situation for him.

Oregon: Mark Helfrich has formally announced the addition of graduate assistants Nate Costa (a former Ducks quarterback), former Tennessee quality control assistant Joe Bernardi and former Colorado defensive back Cha'pelle Brown, while former player development volunteer Matt Noyer and eight-year NFL veteran Carlos Polk will serve as football interns. These moves complete Oregon's coaching staff.
On a similar note, Ryan Walters is back to a full-time staff job. In 2009, he was a student assistant at CU. In 2010, he was a GA at Zona. He got promoted to DB Coach in 2011 when Brown left and Akina backed out of the job. In 2012, he took a step back (sort of) when RichRod replaced the whole staff by taking a GA job with Oklahoma. For 2013, he'll be the Cornerbacks Coach at North Texas.
