Chip Kelly IS leaving Oregon for the Philadelphia Eagles after all

Now we will see what Helfrich is made of...and I suspect the speculation about sanctions is correct. Burn Ducks, burn.
 
This makes me happy, although I wouldn't put too much money on Oregon slipping in the near future. So long as Uncle Phil is writing checks, they'll be competitive.
 
Well that is ****** news to wake up too after a 16 hour shift. I hope Oregon is not dumb enough to make helfrich the head coach. Oregon could hire almost any coach in college football with the money they have. Oh well while this sucks at least I don't have to deal with this damn rollercoaster ride every year. He must have been given one hell of an offer by the eagles and he also realized he now gets to face Monte kiffen twice a year.

I hope this shakes up recruiting a bit, and perhaps the Buffs can sneak in and get a few players from the waterfall effect.
 
So there goes Oregon's trademark offense? It would be weird to see them running something traditional.

Naw - they will plug someone new in. Probably Bob Stitt.

I doubt this has much impact on their team overall. Too much cash flowing into that program

I have a feeling Peterson is already a done deal. Now Boise will fit in nicely with the MWC. I think Bellotti has a better chance of getting re-hired over Helfrich.

I may be one of the few duck fans to say this, but hell no on Peterson. I don't like the track record of former bsu head coaches and he would take the offense back to the stone age. Oregon can't run a traditional offense and win consistently.
