I know I am Debbie Downer on this site right now, but talk is cheap, I need tangible results. Stupid offseason foreverness...
 
I am impressed as hell with HCMM, but not so impressed with depth we have. We have about 8 guys on offense and 5 guys on defense that would be in the two deep at middle of the road Pac12 programs. That's our strength by the way. Our backups are in many cases much too young or just not talented enough to be on a Pac12 roster.

With that said, we will improve every day from here forward. But talk of 6 wins is simply hysterical.

This year? Yes. I'm expecting 3-4, they're talking about 6 or 7 wins, hell I've seen 8 a few times. I'd say there's a difference between the "kool aid" I'm drinking and theirs.

You agree with those posters 90% of the time over there. And you may be saying 3-4 wins, but your posts indicate we are going to be the best 3-4 win team in history.
 
3 wins but substantial visible improvement in all areas of the game. Maybe 5-6 wins in 2014. Minor bowl game in 2015 with 7-8 wins and the outside chance of a breakout 9-10 win year depending on how our recruits develop and how the PAC12 looks.
 
Meh. Most fans need some hope. Given a choice of absolutes, Kool aid is better than 100% pissiness all the time.
 
I have hope, but I also know that realistically we are going to suck right out of the gates and MM is going to need time to build up the team.
 
i've run out of "our" people to believe....long time ago. Fowler off the fence is about the last thing we've got, i s'pose.

i like the MM hire so far.

It doesn't have to be "either/or" when you can have the best of both worlds.

I also like the MM hire. And the fact that Mike Bohn wanted Butch Jones more than this guy validates that MM is the better choice
 
I would like to see Fowler post here once in a while. That would add a new element of fun to this board.
