Given Sam Pittman’s success at Arkansas I thought I would bring this up. He did a damn good job here and might be the kind of meat an potatoes, culture builder that we need.

Also he is old enough that he might stay put for a while.
 
If you follow the Arkansas model and go big on coordinators since your HC is not going to direct a side of the ball.

Pitman's got Barry Odom as DC and Kendal Briles as OC. Both of whom should have profiles created in this sub forum, fwiw.
 
OP missed the thread where we buried the idea of ever hiring a non proven coordinator as a hc. We can’t afford one, never mind two!
