O/U for rushing yards in the 2013 season is 1000 yards.

Place your bet...

Biggest concern with Pow is can he stay healthy, he takes and gives some brutal shots. The more of those you take the more likely you are to not be playing long.

If he can stay healthy I would give him 1000 easy. I would say 1200 but we are going to have some games where we are throwing the ball a lot to catch up.

Under. I think he'll finish at about 800-850 with a dozen touchdowns. Got some other guys who will get more carries than last year for a change of pace and see more snaps if they can line up at RB but catch passes. It'll be a collaborative effort at the position but Christian will lead the way. Concussions terrify me here however.

Under. Questions on the offensive line, most talented offensive player is a WR, we'll be down and forced to throw a lot and there's two other talented backs in the backfield.

Under. They will spread the carries around: Jones, Ford and Abron will see enough time to keep PowPow under a grand.

Adding.

In terms of the concussions, they scare me to, and his running style lends to getting them.

On the plus side the offense was so predictable last year it seemed like the defense knew what was going to be run before the coaches had even callled it. When Pow was running is seemed like the entire defense could just wind up and blast him.

Hopefully this year the play calling will give him a little more room to work without having 11 defenders on him as he gets the ball.

Under. Not sure our D can keep us close enough for the run game to still be a viable option. Also, agree that our o-line is a question mark at this point.

Under. OL won't be pretty and even with the offense going nuts at SJSU last year, it took until the bowl game for their RB to eclipse 1k yards.

Under. I have been beaten into submission and can no longer predict any short term positives for the buffs. This state of being sucks.

Under. I was excited for him and then I looked at his actual game stats

I don't find anything wrong with his game stats considering that:

A. First year playing RB
B. Other teams playing 8 or 9 in the box
C. Was playing in a totally inept offense that was being caller by the worst OC in D1

Under. Our oline is a huge question mark (does this have to be the case every freaking year?).

Over.

There's twelve games now, so that's just over 80 yds. p/g average. Its very reachable for him , provided he stays healthy. I'm confident Forman will keep him healthy, since Forman comes in with the rep of prepping his players to stay healthy. Also, he's not going to get the sh*t beat out of him during practices, unlike last year when the "1"s got all the reps.

Also, got to remember last year was his first as a TB, instead of a FB, and even then he's still learning RB concepts since he came to the position very late.
