Cigar Smokers not High on Buffs

Guess we need to prove them wrong this year. Last year, they were right. **** those guys!

We haven't given them any reason to change their prediction the past few years so I hope we can prove them wrong this season.

What a awful ****ing list

When you're out of timeout, I would love to hear your analysis of what makes a cigar magazine's list of the worst football teams so awful. Giving that list enough thought to actually have an opinion one way or the other is pretty weak IMO.

Meh, so tired of these humorless, vapid bottom ten lists. I know, we have nobody to blame but ourselves blah, blah, blah.

If we're doing all of FBS and not just the Power 5, I'm pretty sure CU has only been one of the ten worst teams in the country once (2012).

Why bother? Do you really want to debate who the worst teams are?

We are a pretty easy bottom ten pick when you look at our schedule. We're probably middle of the NCAA pack all other things considered, but our schedule is a killer.

Danny Sheridan is an F-ing tool, he is the sorry SOB that went on National TV while working for USA Today and proclaimed from nowhere "Colorada (as he say's it) is going on probation" then went on to say we might be the next SMU. As witnessed by where he now works Danny is consistent, consistently wrong.

The Ft. Collins paper, I don't have a link, when assessing csu's schedule, listed their tough games as Boise St., Minnesota and Utah St. and they have to worry about Air Force and San Diego St. The only mention of CU was something to the effect of "they have to be careful against Colorado but this is a game csu should win."

Works for me. Take the Buffs lightly. Seem every time they do that Colorado kicks their ass...on top of all of the other the times Colorado just simply kicks their ass.

That sort of language is used to stir things up. It is their inferiority complex talking. Not worth giving attention to a paper no one reads.

Was on my phone when posting, not going to go through and analyze teams on a iPhone.

Not going to rank them, but here are teams that belong on that list over CU.

  • Kansas - Don't think I need to explain this...
  • Wake Forest - should be pretty awful on offense and bad on defense
  • Oregon State - Freshman QB, no real production returning, new coaching staff, below average on offense and horrible on defense
  • Purdue - have struggled to get going under Dorrell in his first 2 years, and should be bad on defense and below average on offense in 2015
  • Vanderbilt - Mason hasn't shown much of anything, and he inherited a good amount of talent, at least relative to Vandy standards.
  • Iowa State - Defense is looking to be awful and the offense below average and Rhodes hasn't had much success the last few years
  • Maryland - Not terrible, but not average. Will likely struggle a lot on D and be able to score a bit, but not enough
  • Washington - Lost 3 1st round draft picks and will likely have a true freshman starting. Have recruited well, but they could be in for a rough year
  • Illinois - Beckman is a disaster and I'd be surprised if he makes it through the season
  • Texas Tech - Much like WSU, they'll be good on offense but dreadful on defense. Kingsburry went from 8-5 his first year to 4-8 in his 2nd as well
  • Virginia - Fairhawk is their OC, so they'll be bad on offense. Should be the year London is fired after being on the hot seat for the prior 4 years
  • Northwestern - Defense probably won't be good and their offense below average

Unfortunately, there's a good chance the records won't reflect it because the B1G or ACC is not nearly as strong as the Pac 12.

Yeah, CU is really successful against CSU on the gridiron when a Fort Collins newspaper takes CU lightly. WTF?

That's not a bad list. Here's my bottom 10 (in team performance not wins):

1- Kansas
2- Syracuse
3- Rutgers
4- Vandy
5- Oregon St
6- Wake Forest
7- Iowa St
8- Indiana
9- Maryland
10- Purdue
11- Illinois
12- Washington
13- Iowa
14- Wash St
15- CU

Oh great Big Jim, forgive me for projecting the attitude of a Fort Collins newspaper on the attitude of the CSU football team.
