I noted this in another thread, but with a loss tonight they close the season losing 3 out of 4, with another loss staring them in the face next week. Despite the poor finish to the season if they go on to lose tonight, I think most Clemson fans would've been thrilled before the year with a 9-3 season and an appearance in the CCG.

Always something with them. Either they start 1-3 and then finish the season with 7 straight wins and enter the preseason ranked in the top 10, or they start 8-0 and finish with 3 or 4 losses in a row. Wish they'd figure this out and beat the Hokies next weekend! They've certainly got offense to do it, but Logan Thomas will likely abuse that D. Don't know how that Clemson D held VT to 3 points in Blacksburg...

And as I've been saying for over a year now, Connor Shaw is far better than Stephen Garcia. Don't know why Spurrier ever gave that punk Garcia a 7th chance -- it was clear that Shaw was going to be really good in the Cocks' loss at Auburn last year when he got thrown into the fire.
Shaw has played a great game so far.
