Coach A is a Dick?

That's funny. I'm sure their relationship is solid and Alec thought it was funny. I'll bet Alec gives Coach A a hard time as well. Good stuff.

Abatamarco had some ugly issues in the past. i know we are all funtimes and sunshine these days on the coaching staff.....i don't go wither way.

In 1990, he was the HC at Drake. His players revolted and refused to practice over him driving them too hard. I don't remember details and couldn't find any.
 
From February 21, 1990:
Tom Abatemarco resigned as the coach of Drake yesterday and an assistant coach, Tom Butler, was dismissed after an investigation found mistreatment of players and violations of National Collegiate Athletic Association rules. Michael Ferrari, the Drake president, said at a news conference that a university committee concluded that Abatemarco knew nothing of the N.C.A.A. violations but that he used language and engaged in conduct demeaning to players, assistant coaches and trainers. Ferrari said Butler tried to influence a witness in the investigation and refused to cooperate with the committee. (AP)

That is interesting, you have to wonder about a guy who moves around programs as much as he does.

But with that said, it seems like he is doing very well here, I dont see Tad putting up with much crap.

+1 - this is a non topic. He is killing it with Taddy and doing a great job. His jab with Burks was great and it appears that they are pretty close. I am sure Burks gives as much back. His response should have been, Lottery Pick, nuf said.
