Thank you, Coach Mac, for EVERYTHING you have done for Colorado football in the past, but everything you say now reminds me of the conspiracy theory guys with tin foil hats on. Please stop being devisive. We need to all pull together and work towards the ultimate goal.....the revival of Colorado football. Thats the ultimate goal, right?

This has nothing to do with bettering CU at this point. That ship sailed long ago. Mac's game now is leveraging what support he has left at the school to further his personal agenda, nothing more.
 
Mac jumped the shark when he resigned the day Salaam got his 2,000yds. and then claimed he didn't think he stole Rashaan's moment in the sun.

Still haven't forgiven him for that egotistical "me" moment ! His most recent derelictions have only confirmed his desparate need for the limelight he abandoned when he broke his word to CU!!
 
To be honest, if this man had not brought us our greatest era ( and I can't overstate how special it was), I would not like this man at all.

I can't speak for either of them, but I'd say Salaam's 'moment in the sun' was probably in NY accepting the Heisman trophy.

He totally stole the spotlight from Selaam that night. It was totally uncalled for. He could have waited until the regular season and Heisman Ceremony was over.

Nothing wrong with that. I never like to mix religion/politics with CU football. I also didn't agree when Mac did.

He sounds like a guy that thinks he has more influence than he does. I think he REALLY believes that he can turn the entire CU fan base against Bohn and have Embree reinstated. The guy is certified loony tunes.

I think you're looking a little bit too much into it. Everyone has a right to their own opinions though.
 
I said this in one of the other 385 threads we had on the subject, but does Mac honestly feel that CU would change their mind and reinstate Embree as head coach? Really?

He didn't. Rashaan got the Heisman handed to him in NYC and he got to be the 21st pick in the NFL draft. He doesn't look butt hurt to me but whatevs.
 
I think those pics are a bit over the top. We want this **** to quiet down. Not draw more attention to it.
 
The thing that is so messed up is that Mac's rhetoric screams racism. For example:

The Great Black Athlete: First, he makes it sound like some discovery by some white explorer guy. Second, why are blacks only great at athletics? Why would the Great Black Athlete only want to play for a black coach? It's about winning. Good players want to play for good coaches. Skin color doesn't matter.

"But Embree has white guy wits" - is the implication that most blacks don't have white guy wits?

Bottom line is that I think Mac thinks that everyone else is as racist as he is - he doesn't like it - and he thinks it's his job to fix it.

He's whacked and he needs to go away.

McIlwain, DeRuyter, Rich Rod, CKelly, the guy at Sac. St., TGraham et al. I could have sworn those guys were white, maybe not.....
