Lookat Emma breaking records.

Coburn’s time of 9 minutes, 56.53 was a Big 12 record and broke former Buff Jenny Barringer’s mark of 9:58.14 that she ran in 2009 in Lubbock, Texas (which was at altitude). The time was just off Coburn’s PR of 9:56.29 that she set earlier in the season. She became the third female Buff to win a steeplechase title. Barringer won a pair in 2007 and 09 and Lesley Higgins won the crown in 2002.
