College Football Fan Map

Texas is apparently more liked in my home zip than CU.

****ing carpetbaggers.

How are the Ducks ahead in Mesa County? I don't know a single fan in GJ. Plenty of holer fans here, though and they aren't top 3.

Keep in mind this is compiled from Facebook data which strongly over represents the young crowd. That's why teams like Oregon are so 'liked'.

Kinda shocked Ok State and GATech don't even register, how small the Clemson footprint is, and mostly the disparity between ASU and UofA (In the state)

Dang it .. texas.... this is a cool map . At first I thought it was that old picture map making its annual appearance lol

Colorado is kind of depressing, frankly. Combo of being bad and being a major transient state.

Besides the Broncos. Colorado teams seem to have a huge number of the opposing fans at every game. A lot of times I feel like the visitor. It's kind of the ****ty part of cable and satellite TV. I think when people moved to different states they would usually adopt the home team as their first or second team. Now people root for whoever is good or their former home's team.

But if I moved away from Colorado I would still support the Broncos and the Buffs so I'm hypocritical.

I was also a bit surprised at Clemson's small footprint, and also how Duke showed up as the leader in many NC counties. While this map is fun to look at, you really have to question the accuracy of this data.

EDIT: Wait, this map has changed significantly since yesterday!

NC was broken. They fixed it now and it's like entirely UNC.

80138

CU - 9%
NU - 7%
UT - 6%

Don't see too much Texas ****, much more CSU and Michigan stuff. Oregon has been increasing.

No coincidence that the CO counties that don't support CU are pretty much the same ones that considered breaking away from the state because Denver political ideology did not represent them.

It is screwed up. I'm sure they have a calculation error. A whole bunch of colorado counties have uconn as the most popular. UC /CU. There Is no way. There aren't that many rural folks who have even watched a uconn game. Ridiculous. It is an error for sure.
