247 give each kid points, more points-the better the athlete...in their eyes of course. The average is the total points by total recruits. It's very early right now, but kinda cool that we went 3-10 and are tied with LSU as far as 247's perceived quality of recruits.
 
How can we have a high average when we have a guy committed that no one has ever heard of.
 
OP, it's traditional (mandatory?) to include a link to the site providing quoted data. It also helps the rest of us find it. :smile:
 
A list showing averages is sort of a bad way to judge so early in the game. Look at Oregon who is number 1 on the list, but they only have 1 recruit committed so far. It just happens to be that he is a 5 star.

I agree...it's very early. Still hoping we can stay in the top 20 of this kind of list!
