Colorado Considering Mark Mangino as Next Head Coach

No they're not. There's also a thread that was started on the same topic not to long ago. Search, asshole.

Ignore really is a wonderful feature of this board. Don't ever have to see anymore of Creatini or Waldo's bull****

Time will tell. We were getting reports yesterday that there were mutual interest but then earlier today someone (I forget which reporter) said that he was not a option. Since then we have gotten new info that says that not only is he a candidate but going to have a second talk with Bohn.

Regardless of the mans size, he can really coach/build a program. His end at KU wasn't pretty but I'm sure he has learned a lot from that ordeal. You know he will be hungry (no pun intended) to prove he can still do the job at a high level.

I'm thinking Bohn will tap into his KU connections like he did with Boyle so Mangino is a possibility. That NIU coach coached at KU under Mangino so it's possible the NIU coach and Mangino end up in Boulder. Ralphie V would be nervous for sure.

That would be a tough one to swallow.

Or not:

I don't like him as our next coach and I hope and believe he is not our top pick. A lot of reports have said Bohn prefers someone who is a CURRENT HC and that one of his top candidates is coaching this weekend.

I guess we'll find out soon enough. I just hope that Mac,. et. al have not tarnished CU so bad that noone good wants to touch us now.

Is it just me, or does the headline and the picture seem to be begging for an inappropriate joke?

Bohn already dispelled this myth this morning. He's letting plenty of rumors float, but Bohn is not pursuing Tedford, Mangina, or Chuckie.

Yes Mangino is a no go, his name is be floated because he wanted EB's job.

The fat bastard can coach. He did some things at KU that won't be done again for a long time. Orange Bowl win and a Top 10 finish in the final polls. Charlie Weis ain't going to come close to what Mangino did. He would be a hell of alot better than most.

I don't want Mangino for anything. Obviously Bohn was trying to save some cash by refusing to buy water for JE and crew, imagine the financial downfall we'd experience with Mangino eating 3 meals a day at Dal Ward.
