New Colorado coach Jon Embree got a late start in 2011 recruiting for obvious reasons. That won't be the case for the 2012 class.
The Buffaloes received a commitment Monday from running back http://insider.espn.go.com/college-football/recruiting/player/_/id/105940Benjamin Catalon, a 5-foot-8, 190 pounder from Westside High School in Houston.
Notable, too, that Colorado apparently doesn't plan to yield ground in Texas recruiting just because it's now a member of the Pac-12.
Catalon, who rushed for 987 yards and 13 touchdowns and caught 12 passes for 186 yards and two more scores in 2010, is the Buffaloes' second commitment.
