Duff is positive? Didn't you say we would make a bowl game last year?

I will say, I've felt more positive as the week has progressed. I usually have a somewhat accurate feeling on this game right around kick-off
 
I used to be optimistic. Seven years of Hawk, Dr. Phil, Bohn and Embree the HC have beaten the optimism right out of me. There is no reason for CU to ever lose to the goats. Inexcusable.
 
Man sitting here waiting to get off work and get this game on. Man I hate waiting. We have waited all summer, and now these last couple of days are really dragging. Sunday is going to really be a long one. C'Mon BUFFS lets make this wait worth while by kicking some ram @ss... I am starting a new tradition at my house for this game, mutten for dinner on game day !
 
It would be so nice for our team to come into this game with the same intensity and "want" that CSU usually does. It would simply be game over at that point.

Yeeech. Mutton sucks. That's one thing the lamb fans have in this series that's an advantage over us. Buffalo burgers and steaks taste great, mutton tastes of goat ****.
 
I will enter the stadium on Sunday fully expecting to lose. I will not fall into the same trap for the 10th consecutive year of expecting us to be an improved football team.
 
If we win on Sunday, I will change my "Imprisoned Ralphie" avatar to something more positive. Jens may similarly want to consider changed his "Shamed Chip" avatar.

I agree completely. Glad to see you seeing the glass half full. Of course, come Monday we might be eating these words but its always better to start the season with optimism than negativity. Mac2 seems to have a grasp on what it will take to improve the team and the fact they've faced CSU the past 3 years gives us an advantage...we definitely have more talent than csu, now we need the coaching staff to prove that they are better game day coaches.
