Haven't been to Pearl Street in a few years. Plan on heading over there Friday night for the Buff Stampede. What are the best bars/hangouts on Pearl Street nowadays? Or the Hill?

On the hill I would hang out at The Sink or Half Fast. On pearl, I like The Attic, The Pub and West End Tavern. The Walrus is gone. Catacombs is gone. Shooters is gone. Old Chicago is gone.
35 year old Buff fans looking for their favorite bar on Peal street...

The Walrus and Old Chicago are both gone? Holy ****. The Med is delicious (I wouldn't call it a great football watching bar, but its great food) and if you're looking for a breakfast joint-the kitchen is where its at.

Yup I knew a bunch of people that worked there. Some **** about them wanting to renovate and it was going to take forever so the owner backed out and said **** it and now it just sits empty. I was there a few weeks ago, I had no idea it or catacombs or anything else closed.

****ing sad. Still remember making fun of the WVU fans I saw hanging out in front of that place in 2008. That sucks.

Oh I forgot Conor O'Neill's is gone. Absinthe House/Foundry/whatever is gone. Harpo's is gone (although it is something else now). Believe The Goose is gone too.

Harpo's is now called Ralphie's and is exactly the same inside. Miss all the other places listed in this thread though.

If we're talking Friday night pre-stampede, concur on West End. You got an Oskar Blues that side now, too. T|ACO for margs, West Flanders or Mountain Sun for another craft beer option.

The only one I am glad is gone is Absinthe. God I hated going to that place but the group usually ended up there somehow

It was awesome when it was The Foundry, IMO. It's just such a massive space that has to be so expensive to occupy, and it was only really busy Thursday, Friday, Saturday.

Shooters is another place I miss. Lots of good times there.

The Attic was great when I was in college, but they denied me after the ASU game in 2016 because some asshole bouncer said I was "swaying" while standing in line. He actually asked me if I had been drinking... Uhhh, yes, Mr. College Bar Bouncer, it's 10pm on a Saturday night after a Homecoming football game. That place can **** right off.

My dinner on many nights was a handful of peanuts and $1.25 PBR at the Walrus. That place was the best.

The foundry used to be a movie theatre. that’s why it’s large.

Lazy Dog is a reasonable bar for watching games, but my favorite would be west end tavern.
