Congrats Isaiah Oliver!

We may be losing Ted and Chido, but Isaiah's future makes up for it. He's already making big time plays, two weeks in a row now he's ensured our victory with a huge play. Well deserved recognition.

Buffs won 6 POTW awards between 2011 and 2015. They've doubled that number this season.
I hope the Buffs are well represented in the postseason All PAC teams as well. So far the MBB program has really been under-represented in terms of number of players vs overall success. I am kind of afraid we may see a similar scenario in football. I hope I'm wrong.

I love the fact that we have a legit weapon at PR now. It's been a long time.

I know these don't mean a whole lot but it's nice to finally see a Buff mentioned every week. Not only have we doubled the number:
  • We have had the 6 award winners in the 9 weeks we have been eligible (removing the Bye week).
  • We are the only school to not have a repeat award winner.
  • We are tied with UW and ASU for the most awards: 6
  • UW's awards have only come in 4 weeks total as they have two weeks with double award winners.
  • ASU's awards have come over 5 weeks. 4 belong to Zane Gonzalez.
  • Next highest award receiving school is UU with 3 awards.

Great job Isaiah! Gonna be exciting watching him throughout his career. Look forward to more great returns.

He doesn't have enough returns to qualify, yet, but 16.0 yards per return would have him ranked #7 in the nation in punt return average.
