Utah fan here. I was just browsing the site to get a little more information before the Utah/CU matchup in a couple of weeks. Congratulations on a great year so far. I think CU will win tonight. They'll have a tough game against WSU next week, but I think there's reason to think they win that as well. Either way, you all will be in the drivers seat to win the South. Assuming Utah beats the Ducks next week, what do you all think will happen in the Utah/CU matchup?

On a side note, I'm glad to see Colorado get their feet underneath them. If I wasn't such a hardcore Utah fan, I'd probably be a fan of the Buffs. I can't stand the California teams and have really come to hate the Arizona teams as well (even though I lived in Phoenix for 4 years). I will admit, though, it scares me a little bit to have Colorado winning games. Before this year, I always thought Colorado and Washington were potential sleeping giants. Both have a history that includes a National Championship and both are potentially "sexy" places for recruits to want to go. It can't hurt that weed is legal in both places, either. I know when I was in college that would have been a huge selling point to me:)

Anyway, sorry about the long rant. Just wanted to say hi and wish you all good luck tonight. I'm rooting for you to win the next two games (and Utah to beat the Ducks), so we have an epic game to end the regular season. BTW, I chose the screen name because I know there is a huge perception that everyone in Utah has multiple wives. I, personally, don't know anyone with multiple wives. But, I would respect the hell out of anyone who could handle that. I can barely handle one. let alone a bunch.

Nice post. Amazing how we never saw anything coherent and rational from fans of our former conference mates.

Another 20 or so like this guy and it might average DevilDog out of the A**hole category.

I actually like the Utes...who can't like and/or appreciate what KW has done in SLC with more limited resources and all trouble he has keeping assistants. Plus they play BYU every year and who doesn't root against that douchey school? Here's hoping the Utes win out on their trip to Boulder and then get curb-stomped by the mighty Herd!!! Go Buffs!!!

To answer the OP, Utah is gutsy as hell, making plays on both sides of the ball and winning through injuries. It's hard not to like them and HC Whittingham. I like CU's chances because of our defense, but I'm really glad this game is in Boulder.

This is exactly why it's so damn hard to get a rivalry going. Utah fans are too ****ing nice. It's like being a dick to Ned Flanders.

**** you, Ute!

See, that didn't feel right at all.
it's a lot easier than you think nik...

Alright wait a minute. I call bull**** on the 9 wives thing. He must have 9 wives, otherwise how would he know it sucks?

The rest of us think of 9 wives and think of a different bj every night of the week, plus two more left over. And with nine wives, simple math tells you one of them is into anal. Plus the little things like laundry, not a chance. Cooking? Forget about it.

But he obviously knows the hidden truth - that they all probably cycle together, in which case, just go to a Motel 6, man. Plus, there's no way that you get 9 attractive women to go into a situation like that unless they're ASU grads, and who wants to put up with 9 women counting on their fingers for the rest of their life?

this is going to be an interesting experiment in college football sociology. is our fan base going to conform and become wine sipping sweater vest tying effete golf clappers or is the p12 going to become more like what we left behind due to our "unsavory" influence?

i don't mind walking out of visiting team stadiums and not worrying about getting surrounded by a mob.

on the other hand, a little hate and rage between conference teams really enhances the winning experience.

Wine is for slack pussy Frenchmen. And, presumably, all the West Coast programs. For Utah we shall piss in their Diet Cokes before we plunder their wives, one wife at a time. We may have to evolve into a gin-only tailgate. It makes a man mean.
