Congrats to Colorado for making the right hire at the right time. You are starting to see the elite recruiting that will follow coach Prime, and they will all be giving your school a look. You're lowest recruiting class will be in the top 10 for the next three years, and most likely in the top 5.

I am happy for you and for Coach Prime. He has always been a master marketer. He invented the name "Prime Time" in his dorm at Florida State. Stared on 5 NFL teams and 4 MLB teams. You know the resume, but be weary of the haters, for one I am not. I am super excited for you and your climb!! In 2-4 years I anticipate you making the playoffs. Just making a bowl game is not the goal here. Once he gets all of his coaches lined up, support staff and elite players Colorado will be a force in the Pack 12 and a force on the National Scene. College Gameday will be visiting for a game or two as you make your climb, just as they visited Jackson State while Deion was there.

Coach Norvell has been doing an excellent job of building a foundation. He inherited a mess from the end of Fishers term (his last full year he did not recruit at all) and the Willie debacle. Norvell is on the verge of a 10 win season. If not, things may have been a little bit different, but there are many FSU fans (not me) that are still upset with Coach Prime flipping the #1 recruit from us on NSD. To me, its all business. It worked, they shocked the world, and now Travis Hunter will be playing for the Buffs for the next 2 seasons.

Isn't life grand how things just work out sometimes.

Seems like 100 years ago, but my wife and I really enjoyed the tailgating scene in Tallahassee when our Buffs played FSU. We didn't really enjoy the game all that much, but loved the college football atmosphere. Like others have said, we hope Norvell is hugely successful!

I’ve stated my FSU connections on other threads but just know that I rooted for Greg Allen, Rick Stockstill, Weegie Thompson, and Hassan Jones. I was really pumped when FSU hired Norvell because I thought he was and continues to be the right answer. Go Noles!
I am beyond ecstatic for the Coach Prime hire, and watching him see the beauty and possibilities I saw when I got to Boulder in ‘88.

He was special way back when as a player. Always fun to watch when I was a kid. That youthful energy-vibe he has continues to carry him. This is going to be a lot of fun.
