I'd tap the brakes on the Heisman, but I sure wouldn't complain if he maintained that pace.
Congrats PRich! Un-freakin'-believable that kid right now!
I agree with Shldr2Shldr, if he keeps up this pace we'll win the games. That said, I don't think he keeps up this pace. Perhaps just 100 yds per game, hahah.
Let's be clear, if he keeps up this pace he will definitely win the Heisman, but there's no way anyone should expect him to do that.
He's currently on pace for over 2,500 yards receiving - the all time FBS record for yards in a season is 2,060 set by Trevor Insley from Nevada in 1999. If he breaks that mark by almost 500 yards in a BCS conference, the Heisman would be automatic IMO. Still not going to happen, but fun to think about.
Not surprising but very cool.
In a ****ed up way, I'm glad he was able to miss last season's debacle.
It's early, but he looks better than Marquise Lee. (Of course PRich has someone to call plays that work and throw it to him.). I don't think it's a stretch at all to say he's an early Biletnikoff leader. As for the Heisman, seems you have to be at least in the top 25, if not top 10 to get much real attention from the voters.
I'll never forget the moving ceremony in New York when Trevor won his Heisman.
I know, I know, you qualified it with "in a BCS conference", but ESPN still thinks we're in the Big XII. I'm afraid we're not relevant enough yet to get more attention than Nevada.
I hate to say it, but Richardson could set the record and still get more than a few 3rd place votes anywhere east of the Mississippi.

I'd love it if the Heisman always went to the most deserving player. However, Barry Sanders aside, it seems highly correlated to team performance. Prove me wrong PRich! Let's continue this trajectory!

No way - you obliterate a record like that in a BCS conference and people will notice, especially if you're going through Oregon, USC, Washington, etc to get there.
WRs rarely win the Heisman which would work against him, but look at the stats from the last 2 WRs to win the Heisman compared to PRich's pace. These are all purpose totals since both Brown and Howard returned kicks, both were under 1,000 yards receiving in their Heisman years:
Tim Brown (1987) - 1,847 yds, 7 TDs
Desmond Howard (1991) - 1,859 yds, 23 TDs
PRich (2013 pace) - 2,502 yds, 24 TDs
Just keep up this pace and let's see what happens.
Man I thought I was one of the resident Kool-Aidaholics but PRich for the Heisman is stretching it.
He is damn good and right now the best receiver in the nation, but we're 2 games in and have played below average competition. He is certainly in the running for the Biletnikoff. We'd have to get to the Pac12 championship game in my opinion for him to have a chance and that is not likely to happen.
I need to see a Heisman pose in every single game from here on out.

I sincerely hope not. I hope that he has more class and humility coming from where we were the last few years than to do that in the national media spotlight.
 let's aim for Biletnikoff Award Finalist
