I cant believe I just witnessed our coach go full retard 2 weeks in a row, but that was the dumbest decision since Pete Carroll decided not to run the ball. I mean like holy **** WHO THROWS THERE?

Anyways you guys played a hell of a game and your backup QB made the Ducks look like a JV squad (although a JV squad would have more heart). You are on the rise and my Ducks are attempting to flush themselves down the ****ter faster than the Browns.

I suppose the only positive for me is that this is hopefully the game that breaks the straws back and the AD wakes up to realize Helfrich is not the man. I will probably **** off now as I dont think I can take watching any more college football this season as pretty sure my Ducks will be lucky to win 4 games.

I don't want luck, I want the Ducks to lose every game except against OSU and UW. This team needs a new HC bad and the AD is way to complacent unless this Helfrich clown tanks the season.

I do appreciate the thought, but I want this guy gone so bad.
 
I thought the throw was okay, it's Duck football to go for it. But we were evidently due since Tedric dropped the ball right in his chest.

Our strength is the run game and we had 2 timeouts. Why the hell would you call a play call with a QB who was sporadic at best and when our running game had been playing so well. I cant recall one situation where the fade call ever worked with an Oregon QB except a few throws by Mariota, but since then its just killed us. I will stop ranting here as you guys are in a celebration mood and I dont want to ruin it with my doom and gloom.

If you are going to throw it needs to be a post into the back of the endzone where only your guy would have a chance. Throwing it into the middle of the endzone is a terrible decision by the QB.

We had the same complaints about our HC not running it in the 3rd when momentum shifted after Montez threw his first interception.

The Ducks have legit RB talent, even with Royce out. Holy ****. We won't see very many other teams that have that kind of talent at RB. When does Freeman come back? He may single handedly save the coach's job.

You guys had no luck running between the tackles though so as the field shortens in the red zone, those outside runs are unlikely to work. I was puzzled that your QB kept the ball one time on the read option and it was wide open....
 
Canadian Duck, thanks for the kind words, been a long road, and competing with you guys at Atuzen is a HUGE step for us. Good luck the rest of the way (even if you define that as getting Helfrich fired). And for the love of Pete, beat Cal.

Helfrich is out of it. Post game when asked about Montez he basically said he had played a ton this season and "did a great job throwing the ball around vs Michigan." Did he watch any film? 0-7

He threw some very good balls against Michigan; it wasn't his fault the receivers dropped them when he hit them in the hands...

He is an offensive coordinator lol do you think he even watched tape of the offense against Michigan?

Good point. I'm sure that's why he hired Hoke, a former HC with no DC experience, to be his DC. Has him running half the team (poorly).
