The biggest hurdle for the Utes to overcome is the grind of a BCS schedule. Your team is used to seeing a team with a ****** record and knowing it's going to be a cakewalk. In a BCS conference, even the worst teams have been bringing in higher-rated recruiting classes than Boise State. You've got to be up every week.

I was wrong, too. My prediction that the Utes would win was wrong.

All efforts of a contrived Pac-12 rivalry aside, this kind of win (Buffs upsetting a better team at home and spoiling a shot at a conference title game) is a way to get a real rivalry started. The Utes are going to be fired up to return the favor in Boulder next year, that's for sure.
Well unfortunately for them we will have the division clinched by then.

Give it a couple of years for Utah to figure out Buff fans and BYU fans act nothing alike, and never will.
We are used to being thought of this way. Except we use piss filled balloons and nail filled marshmallows and push grand parents down stairs.
Yeah, if you're going to douse an opposing fan you use a piss balloon instead of wasting a beer. That's Fan 101 for 3 credit hours at CU.
Or even marshmallow filled nails.
