Just found a guy who I went to high school with has a FBS quality QB for a son.

Kid turned down a bunch of offers from Wake Forest, FAU, etc to be a PWO at Ohio State.

Now, apparently his dad has the coin to pay out of state tuition (they live in FL) to Ohio State, I'm assuming, but OSU signed one of the top QBs in the nation today.

I don't get the mindset. I love a competitor, but wouldn't you rather go where they think you can be "the guy" as opposed as just another guy?

How many kids will spend their lives riding the pine because they had to go to their dream school when they could have started and been drafted by signing somewhere else? Question for the ages.

I would think that would be the mindset, then again, telling people you play football for Ohio State and having the legit shot at a natty is pretty awesome, even if you're just a PWO.

One that might want to have a coaching career. Also, injuries happen.
