CSU on ESPN

TV for the CSU game hasn't been finalized. The only game we know for sure about today is Fresno State (on CBS).

Shouldn't this thread be CU on ESPN? CSU is just the opponent that gets the honor of being in our televised game.

Little to no inventory on that Sunday.

Colorado State v. Colorado (TBA)
Kentucky v. Louisville (3:30 ET) (ESPN)
SMU v. Baylor (6:30 ET)

I could see ESPN picking up the game and the kickoff moving to 7 or 8 ET.

I'm terrified that they will move it to 1:30 ET.

There is no time slot I despise more. I could also see an ESPN2 showing. We will not be in prime time on a Sunday. Especially in key parts of the baseball season.

I forgot about Sunday Night Baseball. Although only the Dodgers v. Diamondbacks is set at this point for an 8:10 ET start.

I'm sure that whoever organizes this game will do everything in their power to forbid a late afternoon or evening kickoff. You can't have people drinking and having a good time, you know.

Yep. I Live up in the Highlands. Cut across Sloans Lake to the stadium (drink(s) in hand(s) of course). Where are you?

I used to live right near 32nd and Lowell.

The ONLY thing that is keeping me from swearing this game off completely is the potential for the game to be at 1:30 or later. Anytime before that and it will be very easy for me to stay at home.

I've already committed to not going - but I can feel that wall breaking down. **** CSU

I won't be flying out for that one until it goesback to campus. The Denver experience doesn't do it for me, hell, I'd be more likely to come out if it was played at Cost overrun Stadium @ feasibility study field in ft fun. At least there would be some aatmosphere around the stadium.

Is that the term they use for the stench of cow manure? Atmosphere?

It beats the Jack-booted Denver PD and apathetic events crew types. Like my roomie from Greeley used to say, that's the smell of money.

I think the atmosphere will be good this year just because CSEww fans might actually show up.

They haven't shown up in 5 years, what makes you think they will now? Moreover, if every CSU fan shows up, it turns out to be 20k for them. That means CU has to fill 50k and only gets a 55/45 split of the revenue. Cut the game, Bohn.

Yea, why would they suddenly show up for this year's game? It's not like they're expected to have a very good team. Attendance for this game will only continue to dwindle as long as they continue to keep this stupid game in Denver.
