You're right PC, in order to get this thing turned around, we needed to start beating the teams we SHOULD beat. It's a process, and as SAD as it is, beating CAU and CSUx2 is a step in the right direction. While to most programs beating these three isn't an "accomplishment"....this WAS for CU. Now lets steal 2 of the next 6 and build on the lightly laid foundation.
Just an interesting stat. Our 3 losses are against teams that are a combined 11-1. By far the most difficult stretch of our schedule.
When is the last time that happened? For those that get discouraged about the blow outs, the team has made progress. There was no Toledo, Mt. State, CSU, etc..., this year.
Now this staff better turn up the recruiting a bit!
Beating Charleston Southern and CAU isn't really an accomplishment
Pretty sure Arizona State has 2 losses to go along with OSU's 1 loss, but why let that get in the way of making your point.
Sorry I missed a crucial part, 11-1 in conference play.
That a boy....GO BIG OR GO HOME!!while we are dreaming .. let's steal 3 out of the last 6 and sneak into the New Mexico Bowl
Good point. Mac has us beating teams we should beat, unlike Embree, so an improvement there. When is the last time that happened? For those that get discouraged about the blow outs, the team has made progress. There was no Toledo, Mt. State, CSU, etc..., this year.

If we can get a rowdy crowd in Folsom for the black out game against the cats, I think we can win. Football teams feed off the energy in the stadium.
Is the Zona game a blackout game?
Am I the only one that thinks this pink business is way out of hand?
Yep it is. It is also the Breast Cancer Awareness game. They want the crowd wearing black and pink.
no. it makes no sense.Am I the only one that thinks this pink business is way out of hand?

Doesn't baseball do the prostate cancer stuff on one weekend a year? I don't understand why it is a month long mess of way too much pink everywhere.
Apparently pink is more marketable than brown.
trying to get the female fans by players showing their softer side. I always find it interesting to see who does and doesn't wear pink. My daughter has played many volleyball tournaments where they have "dig pink" days. Support of breast cancer awareness. Never understood how bunches of people buying pink shirts supports ? I do see lots of retailers raking in cash selling pink stuff though.Doesn't baseball do the prostate cancer stuff on one weekend a year? Not to change the subject from this very little talked about pink breast cancer deal but we have a good chance of be favored against Cal later this year so maybe we should put this thread on ice until we win that game....
understand. My point is teams and parents showing up with their pink Wal-Mart t shirt? That money is going everywhere but to the foundation. So what if you wear pink. The money needs to follow and go towards the cause. Reckon oregon bought and donated to the foundation? or where they just wear'n pink? Who knows? but if all these teams that are wearing pink are actually donating $ - there is a lot of money going to that foundation. And if you notice the posting in the Pub, then it is a GREAT cause."Dig Pink" days usually have a fundraising component. I'm guessing if they are selling the pink shirts part of the money goes to the SideOut Foundation which in turn supports (with those $$) medical research and support groups for those going thru breast cancer. http://www.side-out.org/news-events/our-events/dig-pink/
