If there was a secret planning document inside RG's desk, what would it look like?

1-year = Give Prime everything he needs to win 7-8 games and get to a bowl game while maintaining all the recruiting momentum we have

3-year = Put every effort into getting into the expanded CFP (10-11 wins) by years 2 and 3 through recruiting, strong NIL, great marketing, and facility enhancements. Determine what conference is best for CU.

5-year = Move to the SEC to remain in the warm southern footprint that Prime is working in. Florida to Georgia to Texas to Arizona and off to California is the new footprint. If a multi-year creative financial transitional plan to gain membership to the SEC is needed, then do it, because neither the PAC, nor the Big 12 will ever overtake the SEC and B1G, but I would not sign up to be part of a cold northern conference where we are not recruiting at. Our travel pod could be Colorado, Arizona, Kansas, and Oklahoma, plus playing games in the Southeast brings all our kids home now and then

10-year = One of the big dogs in a 32-team to 48-team super league.

I think you do everything you can to make the program as strong as possible. You can’t control what the B1G and SEC do. You can only control what you do. The plan needs to be to become as strong as possible within the framework of where we are now while doing our best to read the tea leaves in order to be prepared for whatever changes come to the landscape over the next 5-10 years.

Yep. If we're a top 10 program in the #16 US media market we won't have to worry. CU needs to focus on CU and not waste mental energy on things outside its control.
