CU Offense was in usc territory numerous times, red zone was awful.....

Sacks, horrible turnovers etc... They moved the ball better this game but pissed all over themselves in the red zone. Once again, I thought EB went to the pass too often when we'd run for 5,7 yards on consecutive plays and then webb happened.

Well, looking forward to next year with dillon,p-rich the other thomas etc...

ALMOST forgot, Gerald thomas with no touches but a pass? Clueless EB, clueless.

EB talks about lining up and playing smash mouth football but he falls into the trap of trying to wing it 40 plus times. We lose what should be our identity to quickly each game. Down 14 and we start winging it. I would like to see us stick to the run, QB draws, and reverses more even when down early. Slow the game down and run some clock to keep us closer early. Stanford smash mouthed USC to a loss in the second half by running.running.running. That is what we need to do to compete in the Pac 12. We are never going to have the athletes to match up with USC and play up tempo.

Agree with all of this.

Fact is that we weren't going to beat USC yesterday no matter how well we played. When we got down by 14 that was even more clear.

What we could have done is use the game as an opportunity to try to work on being who we want to be. Going into panic mode simply sets us up to make more mistakes and get drilled even worse. It also give the players that message that the coaches don't believe what they are telling the players and the players then lose interest.

Embree keeps us all in the dark during fall practices and comes out with an up tempo no huddle offense. A couple of games into the season we then start huddling but running the same wco offense. A few more games pass by and we no are running a combination read option and wco offense.

With 5 games remaining, I count another two offense changes coming. If you want to run the read option, wasn't Moten a qb in high school.

The finger pointing has started so the implossion has now started.
