CU Sports Media Coverage

Just wanted to throw this out there, but in my opinion CU media coverage has been really solid the last few years. CU is really lucky to have guys like Adam Musterteiger, Brian Howell, and Henry Chisholm (I know there's some other media names out there, but those are the three guys that I think do a really good job).

What do you guys think? I've been a CU fan for about ten years, so not sure how the coverage was before then, but I feel like it's been solid throughout my time as a die hard fan.

They don’t ask hard questions.

They probably produce a higher volume of coverage than was the case 20 years ago, but they definitely don't push for answers to challenging questions like good journalists should.

Now, in their defense, plati has proven to be petty with media access for those who "make the program look bad," so they have to walk a fine line if they want to have the access that will allow them to produce the volume that they are.

Having a disinfo czar spoon feeding beat writers stories certainly doesn’t scream the best coverage ever.

Coverage is decent, but I get tired of Brian daily reminding Buffs fans to hate the team. Every “good” thing he writes seems to be followed with something bad. It’s the truth and I get that. I’d hate a total homer like the guys covering SEC teams, but he could at least act like he likes CU.

You have to earn or deserve to be covered, we have not helped ourselves. Back in the early 90s when we were competitive CU games w were being played on KILO a rock station in CS.
