BOULDER – The Pac-12 Conference and FOX Sports announced Wednesday morning that the University of Colorado's football game against the University of Utah, originally scheduled for this Friday night (Dec. 11), has been moved to Saturday and will occupy the network's "Big Noon Kickoff" broadcast slot. The Buffaloes and Utes will now kickoff at 10:05 a.m. MST from Folsom Field, with the game to be nationally televised on FOX. Gus Johnson, former Buff Joel Klatt and Jenny Taft will be in Boulder to call the game. The move came about after the Michigan at Ohio State game, previously slotted for the Noon EST broadcast, was cancelled earlier this week due to COVID-19 issues in the Michigan program. It will be the earliest kickoff in Folsom Field's 97-year history, as the previous earliest start came in 2007 when CU and Nebraska kicked off at 10:09 a.m. on Nov. 23. It remains the second latest home game in program history, behind a Dec. 13 contest against Colorado Mines in 1890, CU's first season of varsity competition.
