From Jaime Guy at CU Video. Can't wait to see what they have in store for us this season.

Hello Buff Fans,

We are looking for 20-30 old worn out, beat up & used footballs. All Shapes & Sizes.

Also we are looking to borrow a vintage typewriter kind of like this http://www.vintagetypewritershoppe.com/Mint_Vintage_Typewriters_14.html

These items will be used in one of our future videos this year.

If you can please help us with any of these request that would be great.

You can contact us at: Jamie.guy@colorado.edu or via twitter at @CU_Video

Thanks for all your support Buff Fans, we are looking to break ground with all of our videos this year.

they just bought a $30k camera. They should be able to afford some crappy old footballs on ebay.

I find this to be a rather ironic post from the guy who just lead an impromptu fundraiser for Ralphie.

Why? We raised $1500. 30 grand is literally the entire budget for Ralphie for a year. Big difference there. I don't begrudge them for buying it- hell, I want to play with it badly. And I think they're a great PR front for the program. But it's unnecessary and we're in a budget crunch. I joked that the 10% savings was going for the 2nd tier model instead of top of the line. By all means, spend your budget. But would you donate to a fundraiser to buy a $30k camera for the video squad? Vastly different to me. I'm not mad, but I am looking sideways at the purchase.

I look at it differently, if we as social media can help advance the cause as you did, then we should. There is little to be gained by stepping back and saying you shouldn't have done xyz. Money saved here can be applied elsewhere.

Plus by coming through for them here we continue to reinforce the fact we as "internet fans" are an asset to the program not as we are often painted a detriment.

Strong point. Use your name and exposure to get what you want. Spend money on the rest.
