Going to be a tough weekend for the Buffs. Hope the streaming is free.
Getting to this weekend undefeated was the key to the ooc. Pick up a win and it's just a huge cherry on top that could see us top 15 on Monday.

Match started. (I am going out to dinner and a baseball game, so won't be able to update much if at all.)

Buffs lost to Penn State 3-0 #22 for Penn State is an amazing volleyball player. She had a kill that looked like it hit Joslyn Hayes in the face. It did knock her down and she was taken out of game for a brief time.

Beat Illinois tomorrow.

Not the result we wanted, but it's still a solid showing against a squad that's a lock to be in the national title hunt this year.

Let's get the Illini and make it a great weekend.

The Buffs were behind a few points again in the 2nd,.tie it at 20, but fall late 24-26. Tied at a set each in what looks like (per the stats) a fun competitive match.

Again- exciting- looking match! Buffs survive a couple set points against them and win the 3rd 28-26. Now up 2 sets to 1.

As often seems to happen in 4th sets (when one team is facing defeat), Illinois wins by a lopsided 25-12 score.

5th set was very exciting to watch. Could hear Illinois students disagreeing with calls but their call does not matter. It's the official calls that matter. Hope someday CU can draw involved students to their matches. It does help the team.

The setter did a fantastic job in yesterday's match. As BeBe said somewhere, CU is in trouble if she gets injured. Let's hope she stays healthy.

Just went to Illinois' website. They lost to both CU and Stanford so now have 2 losses on the season.
