BOULDER – Colorado welcomes one of its top non-conference opponents to Prentup Field on Friday (4:30 p.m. kickoff/TV: Pac-12 Mountain) when TCU comes to Boulder. The Horned Frogs enter the weekend with a 2-0 record, defeating both ULM and UTSA by scores of 5-0. They, like the Buffs, are one of 39 teams in the country to open the season with back-to-back shutouts.
TCU is also coming off its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance and returns seven starters from a team that reached the second round.
What separated TCU from CU during the season's opening weekend was the offensive output. TCU's 35 points (10 goals and 15 assists) were the second-most in the nation, while the Buffs managed just one goal and one assist for three points.

LOOKING AHEAD
CU hosts UC Riverside on Sunday at 1 p.m. The Highlanders are 1-1 on the season, winning 1-0 over Southern Utah and falling 1-0 to Idaho. They finished last season 5-10-4.
