BOULDER — Chancellor Lee Adams will turn 18 this year — the same age his father was when he first stepped foot on the University of Colorado campus as a freshman football player in 1992.

First I've read that, very awesome. Everyone involved in Buffs4Life, tip of the hat to you guys.

Great story. Having said that, I hope Carruth dies of the most painful and hideous disease possible after he's released. The fact that he will be released is unconscionable.

I'm glad he wants to take responsibility for Chancellor. That's some level of growth. But he's completely off his rocker if he thinks he should have any custody rights for someone he tried to murder. How does he not get that?
A whole lot of bat-**** crazy in that article. I read that and get real concerned about them letting this guy out.

the article reinforces to me the "2 rae carruths" narrative-- i hope he continues to work on his relationship with his son. but, he's definitely raising flags with his point of view.

I hope Rae doesn't get custody of the son he tried to have aborted or murdered.

Unfortunately it looks like Rae still doesn't understand the depth of harm that he caused, or that he is not anywhere remotely close to being a victim in this. He sounds completely out of touch in that article.

What a f*cking loser.

Totally agree. That type of relationship, both legal and personal, can't happen overnight, and shouldn't.

Impressive article! I seriously doubt if Rae will ever turn his life around.

Can't agree more with the sentiments already expressed here-Embree is a great man and a great Buff. As far as Carruth's desire to be raising his son....the man should not be allowed out of prison (still amazing he only got 20 years for what he did), much less near his son. Thankfully, no judge in their right mind is going to approve this.
