Better figure things out on the road or the Pac-12 will get away from us in a hurry.

Tad not too pleased about 4 straight years opening on the road to start conference play.

"You'd like to think that at some point that would run full circle, but it hasn't," Boyle said. "We just have to keep waiting year to year. I have some thoughts on that, but my thoughts don't really matter when it comes to that. It is what it is. We have to live with it and there's nothing we can do about it. Play them as they come."

Can’t say that I blame him. Maybe someone in the corporate office ought to rewrite the code in the computer program they use or something. It seems to spit out the same garbage every year.

I understand his complaints and agree with him. Winning on the road in the PAC is tough. If they can't find a way to win some of these road games they will be starting out in a deep hole.

On the other hand though they are catching the Arizona swing early. If they can catch those teams still finding themselves they could pick up a split. Split the next weekend as well and suddenly they are one game off .500 with the bulk of their schedule at home the rest of the season.

It would be better just to have a normal schedule but deal with what they have and it could work out for them.

I'm not sure there's a perfect set up for early conference games. Beginning on the road is always tough but the flip side is playing at home while the students are still on break (and a half full arena).

Scotch has a great point - the team gets lotsa home games to end the conference slate. That might prove very valuable going into the conference tourney.
