I was thinking about this the other day...

Other than the 2001 football championship, and I suppose some track and field type stuff, did the Buffs ever win any Big 12 conference championships in anything?

Football = 2001
Men's basketball = nope
Women's basketball = nope
baseball / softball = errrr
Golf?
Water Polo?

Anything!?!?!?

We were undefeated in skiing. Same with the Big 8.

Not counting winning the North but losing the CCG as finishing in 2nd place?

the rankings go off best conference record after the ccg winner, only one time we had the second best conference record when we lost the ccg, and that was 2002. We actually even had a better conference record than the team that eat us that year, OU.

Umm ... I believe the cross-country teams won their share.
Something like twelve men's titles and 11 women's titles - complete domination of the Big 12! (not to mention five NCAA championships!) :nod:

The Women won the '97 Big XII tourney over KSU.
