Was just promo'd that he has a great and amazing story on how he ended up at CU, and overcame obstacles...

All I know is his gymnastics are thrilling to watch.

I snapped this pic prior to Georgia game. A still doesn't do him justice, will have to get some video.

Great story, got me teary eyed. As Ron Zappolo said, it's sort of the "Blind Side" for cheerleaders. Great kid, and great family.

At work, we have to have CNN on all the time, and there was a little feature on him there as well. We've gone national!!!
 
Nice story...had me tearing up in that interview as well......will probably garner the loudest cheer of the game on saturday
 
Gosh o mighty, that kid is freaking amazing. Sounds like a good young man too and I hope this takes him where he wants to go with it. For some reason, I dont think that will be a problem for him. Gotta show my son this when I pick him up tomorrow, he will like the hell out of that.

Yep that's him. The record was at the last home football game vs. USC.
 
He did around 105 hand springs, right? The previous record was 70 something.

Yes, it was back handsprings. I think the record was in the 40s or 50s, and he got 70 something (don't remember for sure).

This is a defensible position. God knows beating CSU on the gridiron over and over and over an over and over is no mean feat. Humiliating a CSU team endlessly is no accomplishment.

Kid is a nice story and he's damn good at what he does. Entertaining as hell.

P.S. Yes, this does rank as a more significant football field accomplishment than the win over CSU.
