Following its best football season in 15 years, Colorado is reaping the benefits in ticket sales. With the season opener about three months away, the Buffaloes have a 96-percent renewal rate on season tickets, a three-percent increase over last year, when 18,011 season tickets were sold.

This is HUGE for the athletic department. In addition to what I quoted below, they're expecting the number of student ticket passes sold to increase over last year's 9,850.

With the season opener about three months away, the Buffaloes have a 96-percent renewal rate on season tickets, a three-percent increase over last year, when 18,011 season tickets were sold.

CU has also sold over 50-percent more new season tickets than at this time a year ago, and is on track to sell out of most of its luxury seats.

In addition to a high rate of season ticket sales, CU has sold out of its Champions Club seats for the second year in a row. For the first time, Touchdown loge boxes are sold out. There are only about 50 season tickets remaining in the Touchdown Club and Biggers said, "We expect to be sold out of these fairly soon."

Who would've ever thought something like this would happen after a winning season? Mind blown.

Yeah amazing how winning increases ticket sales. Now CU needs to get the HCMM contract done, keep RG happy, and keep investing in the AD. Such CU 'luck' to have this Tumpkin messr right after our first good season in forever...

I really would have liked to see a quote from the president or a Regent that applauds the efforts to bring people back to Folsom and draw conclusions about how excellence in athletics impacts the whole university.
