Or you know, we have no secondary because of injuries. Our leading tackler is out for the year.Maybe Embree will get a clue he needs a new DC
fifyOr you know, I got my head up Greg Brown's ass so I really don't know what to think
Or you know, we have no secondary because of injuries. Our leading tackler is out for the year.
Exactly. I don't think any team in the country would be able to overcome this many injuries and expect anything.I don't often agree with Tini, but we have 16 starters injured. SIXTEEN
STFU Jimmy, you negative jerk. God, you are insufferable.
STFU Jimmy, you negative jerk. God, you are insufferable.
We lost the kNU and KjSU idots and Jimmy is taking their place. He is a worse troll than we used to get from the Big XII schools.
Bull****. Jimmy is pissed, as we all are. I doubt that Brown is the best choice for DC. Even with the injuries, his game planning is ****ing pathetic.
I know we are all pissed but tell me Who in the F*** would do better with this situation.
Yeh, we are all f***ing experts, we can see the problems. Not a single person here has a clue about the solution except to bitch and blame.
Let's go get your miracle man, let's go hire the guy who is going to turn Espy into an All-American and lay hands on Polk and Perkins to make they healthy.
I don't know if you realize how stupid it sounds when people think that this team has the talent to compete. We have had some bad games, tell me how you would shut out Oregon, Stanford, Arizona State on defense.
It's completely understandable to be pissed about the situation but to think that changing a coach is going to make this bunch competitive is outright braindead.
At this point everything is wrong with the Buffs, especially on defense.
I'm not one of those "let's not tear each down" type of guys. If someone sucks, call it like it is.
With that said, there is not many bright sides to the CU talent. That makes it hard for the DC to "look good". Now, is it the DC's job to teach these kids how to overcome that? Absolutely. But the way I see it is that CU football has had to re-enroll at the college level. We are true freshman in the Pac-12. I'm not ready to kick anyone out of class just yet.
Is it Greg Brown's fault that Derrick Webb cannot read a run play to save his life?
Maybe, but maybe he has done everything in the world to get Webb to read the blocks better and yet he STILL steps into the blocking assignment letting the RB skate away through the open hole he should have filled. The only positive outcome would be if these players take this season's worth of game tape and learn from all these mistakes.
Things would be a lot better without all the injuries, but I don't think we would be rolling out a dangerous defense if everyone was healthy either, merely one that wasn't getting embarrased.
We don't have a bye week, we don't have better players on the depth chart, we don't have any physical tools that separate us from the opposition.
Basically we have to keep trying with what we got and hoping that eventually it will click for these guys.
Yes it would be great if Brown & Co. were miracle workers, but there isn't enough evidence, IMO, to convict them of being horrible coaches.
It's a ****** situation for our players, our coaches, and our fellow fans. It is very easy to sling **** at each other right now, but it is going to be a long 2 years of doing that.
I am not impressed with the "progression" of Tyler Hansen, but it is impossible to say that is Rip Scherer's fault. We all know Tyler's been yo-yo'd his whole career, had to learn a new offense, is facing a new conference slate of opponents, is not getting any help from his OL very often.
OK, so is it the OL coaches fault? Well we have been bitching about this O-line for half a decade, why is that Steve Marshall's fault now?
Same thing for the D. We have had ****-poor D-line recruiting under the entire Hawkins regime. We knew it was going to bite us in the ass eventually. Well... eventually is now. Combine that with the severe lack of talent/experience at CB after Jimmy/Jalil left that Hawk & Collins never built towards, and you have yourself the "perfect **** storm" of football that we are in now.
Until Brown and staff has a fair shot at building a better defense it just isn't reasonable to be attacking him.
the posts here are getting more and more ****ing stupid. How could you blame Brown on this?
STFU Jimmy, you negative jerk. God, you are insufferable.
Hey hawk backer for 5 years, you were" insufferable" too. Positive, twat.
Why the **** did you create a new handle?I see alot of break downs, i see a lot of flaws in the play calling. We are trying to switch to a 34 defense. Very difficult defense to call, only a few people are truly good at it. I have my doubts about Brown calling the 34 defense, even with talent and speed on the field.
You're the type that while ****ing Pinder would complain that she wasn't Marisa Miller.
.
While I'm not ready to completely jump on Greg Brown just yet as he simply deserves 2 years, I do have my concerns. It's convenient to say that this year is ALL about the lack of talent/injuries, but that's oversimplifying. A largely inexperienced staff has made its share of mistakes.
It's also worth noting that Arizona State has been hit extremely hard by the injury 'bug' this season.
This I agree with. People smiling after a loss need to be punched in the face. Why the **** is Brown so ****ing happy during post game hand shakes after his defense has their heads caved in. Wipe that **** eating grin off your fat ****ing face. Ass hat!
