imma disagree here. about the definition. i think douchebag is more someone who fails to understand what a moron or total poseur they are. usually a db is driven by cultural trends or a false perception of "cool" or "prestige". like a popped collar. most douches traffic in a state of unknowing.

a jerk is someone who consciously (or is too stupid to understand the diff)....who takes his/her idiocy out on another and considers it interesting.
